Cellaring potential: 5-6 years.
Deep vibrant, blackcurrant-like flavours and silky tannins. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 55%,Cabernet Franc 32% and Merlot 13%, matured for one year in new French (Nevers MT) oak barriques, it sports a dense, purple/black colour. The palate is mouthfilling and concentrated, yet supple, with fresh, delicate blackcurrant/plum flavours, oak complexity and a very rich finish. An impressively intense wine, it's drinkable already but best opened 2010 onwards.
